Intellectual Property

Integrian is a pioneer in the development of mobile digital video recording systems and invests millions of dollars in research and development annually. To protect our investment, Integrian regularly files patent applications for all unique aspects of our hardware and software systems covering product design, unique features and packaging.

Integrian holds fundamental intellectual property in mobile digital video recording systems for public safety and other markets. For example, one of Integrian's patents is U.S. Patent 6,831,556, Boykin, et al., "Composite Mobile Digital Information System", a groundbreaking concept of integrated video, audio and metadata streams. In addition, the patent addresses methods of file transfer, wireless transfer and streaming, and pre-event recording.

In addition to these patents, Integrian currently has patents pending for a wireless microphone, secure ruggedized packaging of electronic components, sensor activation of system components, and numerous improvements to fundamental intellectual property within our market.

Integrian continues to aggressively pursue patents that broaden our IP landscape, both through improvements to IP already in-house and by securing patent protection for new technology discovered by our research and development groups.
